The leaders of the United States, Britain, France and Germany discussed efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, the White House said in a statement on Sunday.

The White House did not provide further details about the Middle East part of the talks between US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Schulz.


The European Union and the United States announced last week that they were studying Iran's response to what the European Union called a final proposal to revive the accord, under which Tehran reduced its nuclear program in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.
